Pixel Heller

Founder

Pixel Heller is a multidisciplinary artist, international performer, and Moko Jumbie based in Toronto. Her work explores Afro-Caribbean identity through performance, visual art, and movement. Pixel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University.

As the founder of Northern Jumbies, she brings the spirit of the Moko Jumbie to life through stilt-walking workshops, performances, and community engagement rooted in ancestral tradition.

Mutombo Marcelo Yoko

Co Founder

Mutombo Marcelo Yoko, a Toronto-based photographer, writer, and musical artist, specializes in storytelling and documentation. Drawing from his management background, he facilitates and organizes creative projects, transforming ideas into sustainable and impactful initiatives.

As co-founder of Northern Jumbies, M. Marcelo Yoko contributes to both the creative and administrative aspects of the business, supporting its growth through documentation and high-level collaborative strategies.
